WHAT: Nuance Communications, Inc. will be presenting a breakout session at NAHQ Next titled, “Tale of Two Health Systems: How Data Analytics Drives Quality.” This session will highlight case studies from two New Jersey health systems, CentraState Medical Center and Shore Medical Center, to demonstrate the importance of data analytics in more efficiently carrying out quality initiatives and will educate attendees about the specific data analysis used to find at-risk processes.
WHY: As the healthcare industry moves away from a pay-for-performance model, it is important to understand how to link quality measures to value-based reimbursement. Audience members will understand the process of producing an action plan to identify, measure, remediate and follow-up with quality measure failures, as well as a successful approach to improving quality data with tangible clinical and financial outcomes.
